What is Love?

Love. It’s not about sex or gender. It isn’t a physical attraction. Love has a deeper meaning. You cannot say you love someone because you touch them. Love is not an outside thing. Love is a simpler emotion. It’s a powerful feeling, where you would die for them. You would do anything to see them smile. Love is happiness. Love is being sure that they are happy. You do not have to date, to kiss, to marry, or to have children to say I love you. You simply need to put yourself before them, and make them smile. That is love.

I saw a wonderful post by someone on what they thought love was. So, I wrote this short prose on what I felt love meant. In short, I believe that love is happiness. It is doing anything to see them smile. These are my feelings. What do you think love is? Let me know. Namaste.
